Wrawby Post Mill

Because the area is predominantly agricultural, East Yorkshire's long farming heritage is proudly preserved on working farms and mills as well as in lively museums, all of which gives visitors a fascinating living experience of times long gone, when the land was worked by men and horses and windmills were commonplace.

The region's open-air recreational facilities include water sports, walking, cycling, angling, horse riding and gliding. In addition, East Yorkshire has several beautiful country parks and natural areas for informal recreation and picnics, all are easily accessible and have much to offer the visitor - something for everyone in fact.
